but i do know one thing though for sure: everybody thought they could be the next Tracy McGrady if they bought the shoes. which is why sporting goods houses get athletes in the first place.
FAME=SALES. period.
let's not even start on Michael Jordan. coz it'll have to take more than jury duty time on some high-profile murder case to finish discussing about ONE pair of Air Jordans.
let's stick to the T-Mac's, shall we?
there's been a lot of talk about Adidas coming up with retro version of the T-Mac 1 in white & gold. and here it is...
although i'm not a very big fan of basketball shoes, prolly because of the fact that well...i don't play basketball. LOL.
but man, these babies are definitely worth the exception! hell, i even have one of 'em Nike Turbines...in all colors. until now i still haven't used even one pair. not coz i don't wanna get them dirty, but because i don't know when & where the hell to use 'em.
just knowing that these babies will be released exclusively in ASIA with only 1,600 pairs make me zinnggg!!!
the T-MAC was actually just in the Manila, Philippines as part of his Asian tour to promote these babies, and even met up with a local fan with the help of the Manila Make A Wish Foundation. he got a McGrady jersey, a couple of T-shirts and a basketball signed by the T-MAC.
and...NO SHOES. hahahaha. that goes to show how limited these kicks really are, coz they won't even give them away to support their star's "humanitarian image".
definitely worth getting, folks!!
